Part- time Cook - Friday Shabbat Shift

Part-time cook required, 4 hours / week

Required:

• Red Seal Certificate

• Minimum two years cooking experience in Long Term Care or related field

• Hospitality Qualification, Chef, or Cook Papers

• Food Handling Certificate

• Good English communication skills

Job Duties:

• Cook for LTC / Apartment residents observing Kosher Dietary Laws, and all other safety and hospitality policies and procedures

• Take leadership in the kitchen

• Prepare meals independently according to our standards and give effective direction to other team members

• Perform multiple tasks.

• Co-operate and work closely with Hospitality Director, Dietary Aides, Cooks and other team members.

RPN Team Leader

Are you an RPN who is interested in making a difference in the lives of frail elderly persons?  Do you thrive working with a team of like minded people?  If you can say yes to these two questions then this newly created F/T position may be for you. Familiarity with MDS/RAI, computer skills and demonstrated leadership would be important assets.
