Volunteers at Shalom Village

Volunteers  help us make every day at Shalom Village a day well lived. Our goal is to encourage volunteer development in a way that helps Shalom Village achieve our mission and provide a rewarding experience for volunteers, making them feel valued. Our volunteer team is a diverse, all-ages group that includes residents, family members, students, retired people and other motivated community members.

What do Volunteers Do?

Volunteers at Shalom Village wear many hats. They answer telephones, work at the reception areas and help with programs, outings and appointments. Others help with friendly visits, monthly Shabbat services, and multi-faith church services. Some volunteers work in Bubbi Bessie's Cafe or our Corner Store gift shop.
